Casper is an actor, writer, director and film producer who divides his time between Los Angeles and New York City. 

As an actor, he has guest starred on "Hawaii Five-0" and the Hulu series "Deadbeat" and most recently co-starred on the new TV series "Lethal Weapon". Film roles include "I Dream Too Much", "Hitch", Little Children", and "Celebrity". He has also appeared in many of his own films -- a few times in starring roles and more often in supporting roles. On stage, Casper has played both Hamlet in "Hamlet", and Romeo in "Romeo & Juliet". 

Casper is also an accomplished filmmaker who got his start in 2003 when he wrote, directed, and produced the short drama "Mormor's Visit" as well as his first feature, the romantic comedy "Slutty Summer". In the years that followed, Casper produced and directed another five feature films (three of which he also wrote): "A Four Letter Word" (2007),"Between Love & Goodbye" (2008), "The Big Gay Musical" (2009), "Violet Tendencies" (2010), and "Going Down in LA-LA Land" (2011). All of Casper’s films have collected multiple awards at film festival around the world, and the feature films all opened theatrically in the U.S. before a successful release on VOD and DVD in the US/Canada, Europe, and Australia. 

Originally from Sweden, Casper was excited to return to his home country and direct his first Swedish film in the early 2013, a short drama titled "Ett Sista Farväl" ("A Last Farewell"), from his own script. The film went on to play over 130 film festivals worldwide picking up 18 awards. 

In 2015, Casper produced and directed two additional feature films -- the West Hollywood murder mystery "Kiss Me Kill Me" and the Brooklyn-based dramedy "Flatbush Luck" -- both currently playing festivals and each winning multiple awards.  "Kiss Me Kill Me" is coming to DVD and On-Demand on Dec 6th, 2016. He is currently producing Madeleine Olnek's upcoming feature "Wild Nights With Emily" starring Molly Shannon. 

Casper runs the production and distribution company Embrem Entertainment and has several new projects in development both as a producer and as a director. Casper is always on the look-out for acting roles, as well as writing and directing opportunities. In addition, he is available for indie film making consultation.

Casper was selected as one of the 100 most influential and newsworthy GLBT people by Out Magazine in 2008.
